Ecuador is a challenging place to guide because of the multitude of runs to know intimately at varying water levels. We excel because of our devotion to quality and our vast amount of experience guiding in 7 countries. Equally important are the years of experience we have had getting to know the rivers of Ecuador and our love for paddling here. Many seasoned guides lose the love of kayaking and it becomes just a way to make a living. All our guides are kayak instructors and raft guides who are motivated by providing quality whitewater adventures and are dedicated not only to paddling but to sharing their expertise with others. Whether someone wants a little extra help running rapids or a bit more challenge, with over 20 years of guiding experience we are sensitive to these desires. When not guiding we will usually be found paddling and exploring new rivers and are fortunate to spend a huge percentage of our days each year on the water. For us, kayaking is not just a job - it's a lifestyle we want to share with you. Integral to our guiding philosophy is the concept of running our trips just like we do when paddling privately (OK, maybe a little more luxuriously). The emphasis is on fun, safety and quality experiences on and off the river. We believe this is best achieved by a small group of professionals working together with common goals and ideals. Although extremely varied in age, background and specialties, they share a common passion - running rivers. Our guides are the key to your trip and our success and we want you to know a little about the core group.
